Everything started off great for the Dallas Cowboys, as they were 2-0 a couple of weeks ago. However, things began to change once Tony Romo and Dez Bryant both went down to injury.
Romo isn’t expected to return anytime soon, but there’s rumors Dez may be coming back sooner rather than later. The star wideout recently received an injection to bolster the healing.
Owner Jerry Jones spoke on the matter.
“There is not a concern about his progress,” Jones told USA TODAY Sports. “The fact that he can do that (injection therapy) is a positive. This was not something to address something that was a surprise or anything. It was something to get him some additional strength.”
There’s still no timetable for Bryant’s return, but this should be a welcomed sign for Cowboys fans everywhere.
