It looks like Joakim Noah is going to have to get used to a slightly different role in Chicago.
It is being reported by RealGM.com that Noah is expected to start the season coming off the bench, while Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic fill the starting roles.

The Chicago Bulls are leaning towards starting Nikola Mirotic and Pau Gasol with Joakim Noah coming off the bench.
Noah is fully healthy and in a contract season.
“Whatever is best for the team. It’s not about me right now. It’s about this team,” Noah said. “We have to figure out ways to get better. And we will.”
“He didn’t fight it one bit,” Fred Hoiberg said. “I think he’s excited to play with Taj (Gibson) and the chemistry those two have together.”
It can be a tough pill to swallow being told that you are being removed from the starting role, but for now it at least seems like Noah is embracing it.
Being in a contract year, Noah know he has to ball out in order to cash in, so it will be interesting to see how he does coming off the bench.
