I wrote here recently that there would be plenty of names linked to the vacant USC head coaching job, and today we already had our first big name surface.
It is being rumored that Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is “high” on the short list for the vacant position out in Los Angeles.
Dan Patrick just said he's been told John Harbaugh is "high on the short list" for USC head coaching job. #Ravens

This rumor comes courtesy of SB Nation, and I expect plenty of more names to surface in due time. There will be no shortage of names that come up who have “interest” in the job and I’m sure plenty of coaches will publicly deny interest.
We have already seen Chip Kelly try to squash rumors of him having interest in going back to college, and I’m sure Harbaugh will do the same. Until the season comes to an end, I would expect to see a barrage of different names come up for this job, but nothing will happen officially until December or January.
