Daniel Bryan hasn’t wrestled since May due to a concussion but he’s said on multiple occasions that an independent doctor has cleared him to return to the ring. The WWE has been hesitant to let Bryan return but a rumor has surfaced that says Bryan will be the one to accept John Cena’s open challenge tonight.
Wrestling reporter Scott Keith says that Bryan has flown out to LA to attend WWE Hell in a Cell tonight and that there’s a possibility of him being Cena’s challenger.
At this point all rumors should be taken with a grain of salt but every wrestling fan must wonder when they’ll see Bryan in the ring again, if ever. The longer he is away, the less it looks as though he will return. We can only hope the WWE does the right thing tonight and gives someone deserving of the belt a shot at Cena tonight.
