The Detroit Pistons are without a doubt the most surprising team in the NBA so far through this young season. After an epic fourth quarter comeback that saw the Pistons outscore Portland 41-11 in the 4th, Detroit now stands at an impressive 5-1 heading into a highly-anticipated clash with the Warriors tonight.
While things are going well in Detroit, there are still some question marks hanging over the team, mainly Brandon Jennings and what his role will be upon returning from a torn Achilles. With the team playing so well with Reggie Jackson at point guard, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if Jennings was asked to come off the bench for the team. So would the former lottery pick be okay with such a proposition or would he push back against the idea? Like he often does, Jennings took to Twitter to address the topic.
This has to be great news for the Pistons organization, who surely had to be worried about the volatile guards return.
