Headed into this season the Miami Dolphins were expected to have one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. They signed Ndamukong Suh to add to the pass rush that Cameron Wake already brought. Unfortunately for Wake and the Dolphins, Wake tore his Achilles causing him to be out for the season. One day after being cut but the Jets, Quintin Coples has found a new home in Miami where he could serve as a replacement for Wake.
Dolphins claimed former Jets first-round draft pick Quinton Coples off waivers, as @barryjackson1 reported. Coples now faces Jets on Sunday.

Coples just didn’t seem to fit coach Todd Bowles’ system. Coples is 6’6″, 290 pounds and has played both defensive line and linebacker. He was drafted 16th overall in the 2012 which was then viewed as a steal. In three season, Coples has racked up 16.5 sacks which the Dolphins hope to see some of. In an interesting twist, Coples will face his former team Sunday back in New York. Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick might want to watch his back Sunday, Coples might have a bad taste in his mouth.
