The Maui Police Department have new details on the domestic violence incident involving Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes and his wife Kathleen Ramirez.
The Maui PD released this statement via the New York Daily News:
“Mr. Reyes arrest stemmed from an incident that was reported at the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea, Maui. Mr. Reyes and his wife were involved in an argument that turned physical and resulted in injuries. Mrs. Reyes (Katherine Ramirez) was treated by medics at the scene and later transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center for further treatment,” reads the release.
Reyes was also issued a citation that ordered him to stay clear and “not have any contact from his wife for 3 days”, according to the Maui PD.
The 4 time All-star has been charged for “abuse of a family and/or household member”.
