I had the chance to sit down and talk to Michael B. Jordan about several topics both professional and personal in regard to his new movie coming out on Thanksgiving “CREED”.
The movie follows Apollo Creed’s son Adonis from anonymity in the boxing world to the biggest fight of the year against the pound for pound king.
The entire time Adonis is dealing with complicated feelings about his dead father, Rocky (played by Sylvester Stallone), his mother and a new love.
He is doing this all while being punched really hard in the ring. I ask Michael B. about the pressure Adonis feels trying to make his own legacy and how he felt personally about making his own legacy in such a storied franchise.
He gives an interesting answer and brings up dealing with someone’s shadow isn’t new to him.
CREED opens worldwide on Wednesday November 25th.
