Metta World Peace is disputing claims from people who say Kobe Bryant never tried to help Lamar Odom.
The Lakers forward says he and Kobe Bryant were irate when they learned he overdosed in a Nevada brothel, because they had both tried to save him Odom at one point or another.
“When Kobe found out Lamar was in the hospital, he was furious … I was in tears.”
World Peace told VladTV he and Kobe love Odom like a brother, and that the Black Mamba even Face Times with him.
“Kobe FaceTimes Lamar,” Metta says … “Kobe tried to reach out to Lamar plenty of times before this incident happened. I was reaching out to Lamar.”
