LSU has the right to believe they are a top program in the country, but if you fire Les Miles, you better have a better replacement in mind.
According to Joe Schad, Miles is likely to be bought out by LSU as early as today.

A buyout of LSU coach Les Miles' contract is "a very good possibility," a high-ranking source tells @schadjoe.

“In Louisiana, we expect national championships, and we’re not in it,” the source said, adding that meetings are occurring Monday that could lead to a quick resolution.
The Tigers (7-3, 4-3) are coming off consecutive losses to Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss — the first time the program has lost three in a row since 1999.
