The WWE had to be concerned when champion Seth Rollins went down with a knee injury and their two biggest superstars, John Cena and Brock Lesnar, were given time off for various reasons but the sales for the 2016 Royal Rumble should show the company that they have nothing to worry about.
According to F4WOnline.com, Royal Rumble ticket went on sale this morning and were sold out within 30 minutes.
Royal Rumble should mark the PPV return of both Cena and Lesnar. It also serves as the springboard into the main story lines for Wrestle Mania, which is why the WWE universe usually goes all out for the event.
With all of that known, it’s still very possible that we see Roman Reigns enter Royal Rumble as the face of WWE to defend his championship. There aren’t too many fans that would’ve believed that Roman could sell out a 13,000 seat venue in a year, but it’s happened.
