NXT is coming off yet another successful Takeover special and it’s time to examine their future.
With the brand touring globally and it’s fan base growing it’s only natural to assume that the roster will grow as well. They currently have some of the biggest names in indy pro wrestling history in the organization: Samoa Joe, Finn Balor (Prince Devitt), Sami Zayn (El Generico), Apollo Crews (Uhaa Nation), Hideo Itami (Kenta), Asuka (Kana).
The WWE is always looking for the next wave of NXT stars, which leads us to our list. The WWE still prides itself on finding home-grown talent but their biggest names this decade have come from the independent wrestling scene. Here are 5 wrestlers we expect to see signed by NXT in 2016.
