Last year DeMarco Murray was having a great season and we only heard high praises for the leading rusher of the NFL. This season, he is struggling to make an impact on his new team, the Eagles and some people are kicking the man while he is down.
An anonymous Cowboys source says that DeMarco was only a team player last year because things were going his way and he is showing his true face this season.
“The guy is a pro in his preparation and toughness and competitiveness,” said one club source. “But he’s also entitled, selfish and condescending. He’s a great ‘team’ guy when he’s the guy.” Murray’s reputation in Dallas was of a player who’d mope at times when things didn’t go his way, which is part of what the Eagles have dealt with of late.”
As always if someone feels the way to come out to the media with such criticism maybe he should put a name behind his quotes otherwise he should probably keep it to himself. DeMarco Murray is saying for now that he is committed to the Eagles beyond this season but we will find out this offseason if he really means it or maybe the Eagles will find him a new home to end his misery in the city of brotherly love.
