It seems like everyone knows Anthony Davis will be the next big thing in the NBA, even the tax people. When Davis was drafted into the NBA his tax situation got very complicated, not only because of his change of income, but because he gets paid in multiple different cities, multiple times a year. That’s a headache nobody wants, unless you’re Anthony Davis.
Davis went to H&R Block and liked what he saw, made connections, and agreed to an endorsement deal with the company that was announced on Monday. This is only the third deal the Pelicans forward is has signed along with Nike and Red Bull.
He will appear in commercials with star tax adviser, Richard Gartland. Davis says he may adopt the bow-tie full time, but no word if Gartland is going to be trying out the uni-brow.
