Just because Jerry Jones said Tony Romo is done for the year, doesn’t mean the Cowboys won’t pull a Willis Reed with a division title on the line.
The Cowboys and the rest of the NFC East teams will have to win the division to make the playoffs, there will be no wildcard participants, and their doesn’t deserve to be one.
According to Pro Football Talk — the Cowboys have not yet placed Romo on injured reserve, which would prevent him from playing again this year — because the division is abysmal.
“Why else?” the source said. “The division stinks.”
The Giants and sit tied at 5-6 a with the dreadful Eagles at 4-7, the 3-8 Cowboys have a large miracle of hope.
A loss to Washington on Monday night, would likely see Romo placed on IR as early as Tuesday morning, so don’t get too excited Dallas fans.
