Manny Pacquiao joins the rest of the Philippines with the joy of the new Miss Universe. Pacquiao first discussed the controversy over the miss announcement of Miss Colombia as Miss Universe initially.
“Courage is grace under pressure this is what Pia showed in the middle of the confusion and controversy that marked her coronation as the new Miss Universe…”
Pacquiao went on to talk about this being redemption for his loss to Floyd Mayweather earlier this year.
“Remember when I lost to Floyd last May, she made a promise to all of us Filipinos that she will avenge that defeat comes the Miss Universe pageant which she just has fulfilled.”
Not sure if that means that Pacquiao vs Mayweather 2.0 will never happen, not sure anybody would want that. But I guess in Pacquiao mind Miss Universe avenged his loss.
