I’ve been curious about who Miami would be able to obtain to fill their head coaching vacancy, and it seems to look like they won’t have too much trouble finding a qualified candidate.
It is being reported that Miami has already interviewed several coaches and that list includes Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen and former Georgia head coach Mark Richt.
Miami interviewed Mullen, Butch and Schiano. Talking with Richt today, per source.

Chudzinski was contacted by Miami but said he wasn't available for interview until after NFL season. In other words: Thanks but no thanks.

It also looks like Miami is looking to spend a little more money than what was originally predicted, which is never a bad thing when trying to land a big name coach.
My bad. That's @BruceFeldmanCFB report on the $4M being confirmed. Suggests Miami has more $$ for staff than many (me) expected

Looks like the folks down in Coral Gables are going to open up the wallets and try to get the coach they need to get things back on track after the Al Golden era.
