The Rock has incredible family ancestry in the WWE. He gave his uncle, “King Haku”, a truck for Christmas and proceeded to give us a Christmas story about his WWE tryout.
King Haku, who was one of the best bad guys in WWE history called The Rock and told him, Vince McMahon wants to fly him out for a tryout. Vince McMahon assumed he’s had multiple matches but he didn’t even have one.
The Rock having no money and no wrestling gear went to a Sports Authority to buy volleyball knee pads and borrowed wrestling tights from his uncle.
He debuted in Corpus Christi, TX in front of 15,000 people and the rest is history.
