UC Irvine broke a new NCAA record in their win against Chapman University. They started the game with the tallest lineup in college basketball history. The coach decided to experiment the tall lineup against an inferior opponent since Chapman University belongs to the D-III. I’m not sure the coach would use the same lineup against better competition but it made history for what it’s worth.
The tallest player for Chapman University was 6’8 but the score doesn’t indicate it was an easy game as UC Irvine won 65-51.
