Coaches & Players Reveal the Dirtiest Player in NBA

nba

Nobody has forgotten about the controversial plays Matthew Dellavedova made during the Cavaliers run to the Finals last year. So much so that he was voted the dirtiest player in the NBA by coaches and players in a poll conducted by The L.A. Times:

“The 24 people who spoke anonymously — some of them voted for more than one player — listed their top five dirtiest players:

Dellavedova received 13 votes. Oklahoma City center Steven Adams was next with seven votes. Golden State center Andrew Bogut (5), Memphis forward Matt Barnes (4) and Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka (2) rounded out the top five.”

He either ‘plays hard’ or is ‘dirty’ depending on your stance with the Aussie. Jalen Rose always talks about ‘skill’ and ‘will’ players. Delly is a ‘will’ player, meaning his will is why he is in the NBA. So he has to COMPETE and sometimes that may come off as dirty, but if you’re a Cavs fan you see it as him doing everything he can to win.
