According to Fox Sports, FIFA presidential candidate Tokyo Sexwale vows to not allow the 2022 World Cup to be hosted in Qatar, if corruption allegations are proven.
Sexwale is one of five Presidential Candidates that aim to replace Sepp Blatter as FIFA president, once the elections are held later this year.
If elected, Sexwale vows to root out corruption and strip the World Cup from Qatar if the bidding process was compromised.
With the elections slated for February 26th, 2016, it will be interesting to see if Sexwale’s statements will hurt his chances of becoming the next FIFA president.
