Tomorrow night the world will be watching the top two teams in the West, the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs face off for the first time this season. Unfortunately for the fans, Tim Duncan will be watching as well.
INJURY REPORT – Tim Duncan (soreness, right knee) is out for tomorrow's Spurs-Warriors game.

Is this a case of Father Time catching up with Tim Duncan or is coach Gregg Popovich playing mind game with the Warriors? I’m sure it’s a little of both, Duncan is 39 years old so it’s reasonable that he’s having minor knee issues but we all know how coach Popovich works. The team isn’t worried about making a statement this early in the season against the Warriors. A win tomorrow means nothing if you lose later in the playoffs. Coach Pop is a genius and by resting Duncan he won’t show coach Steve Kerr and the Warriors his hand. This isn’t the first time coach Popovich has pulled a stunt like this. Let’s just call it gamesmanship.
