The NBA will not discipline Rondo for what appeared to be him attempting to kick Deron Williams during the game. USA today spoke with the league and about the incident. Despite what the initial camera angles appeared to show to the world another camera angle saved Rondo from a suspension or fine. The baseline camera showed that Rondo swiped his leg sideways and didn’t come as close to making contact with Williams as other angles had made it appear. It’s only speculation about if Rondo was intentionally trying to hurt Deron. Or if Rondo just picked a weird time to stretch. But I guess it’s all on Lil B to punish Rondo, because the league will not.
