WWE Rumored To Bring Hulk Hogan Back After Gawker Lawsuit

Hulk Hogan Apology

I was one of the people that thought we wouldn’t be seeing Hulk Hogan back with the WWE for at least a year or two but it seems it may be a lot sooner. The WWE is rumored to be open to bringing back Hulk Hogan but are in no rush due to the obvious backlash they may get from fans and the media.

The fact that Hogan was such a huge staple of wrestling means that he wasn’t going to be gone forever but I figured the WWE would keep away from that mess for a good while. Now, it doesn’t mean Hogan is coming to Wrestlemania 32, as PWInsider says the WWE would likely want to wait until Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker is resolved to protect themselves in case any more damaging issues come out. The case is set to begin three weeks prior to Wrestlemania so who knows if that can get resolved in time to make it to the show.

Hulk Hogan’s racist rant was a hard pill for people to swallow especially a lot of old heads that grew up loving wrestling and seeing Hulk Hogan every week. A lot of people will never forgive him and no one can ever forget it. We are in such a sensitive time when it comes to race relations in our society and bringing Hogan back will create an avalanche of social media attention spotlighting this.  Do you think the WWE would be rushing in bringing Hogan back or do you think he’s had enough time away?
