IG Rant Claims Kanye Didn’t Pay Yeezy Season 3 Extras For Fashion Show

Kanye packed MSG for his Yeezy Season 3 premier but it seems as though saving money on a DJ, they used an AUX cord, wasn’t enough for Yeezy to pay all of the extras he used for the fashion show.

This man, Kurents, claims that he didn’t receive the money he was promised to be an extra in the show.

Lmao I was on the megatron at Madison for yeezy 3. shit was trash. Kanye finnessed 1200 young black adults into working as extras for free to a sold out white crowd that was screaming “all day nigga”. We didn’t find out we weren’t getting paid til 6am. He sent us to jersey and put us in Salvation Army clothes (not yeezy, my pants were carhartt and my shirt was American apparel). I jugged some sambas from wardrobe though.

There’s always two sides to a story and TMZ is reporting that everyone got paid for their services.

A source close to the production tells TMZ all models were dressed in Yeezy Season 3 gear, but because of the large number of participants … some extras were in vintage clothing that had been dyed for the production. We’re told they were paid $10/hr.

Our source says everyone involved in the show had to sign a very strict NDA, so it’s a little fishy the “kurents” guy is so chatty.

Yeezy needs to find this kid an hit him off with the $40 he should’ve gotten. With a show of that magnitude it’s possible that something was lost during the process.
