Bill Romanowski on how he’d stop Cam: I would hit him as hard as possible then try to choke him under the pile.https://t.co/nIuvWGVc2i

This Romanowski-Cam Newton choking video went viral a few days ago but it’s not until now did the racial undertones of the conversation really stand out.
It was Romanowski’s tweet yesterday calling Cam Newton, “Boy,” that made us revisit his words earlier in the week.
If the joke wasn’t about Eric Garner then we will stand corrected but the two hosts of the show and Romanowski should all have to explain the intent behind this segment.
UPDATE
Adam Lfkoe did reach out to us to explain the intent behind the video:
@KelDansby @BSO I was just sent the “I can’t breathe” Cam Newton article. I had absolutely no intention of connecting this with Eric Garner.

@KelDansby @BSO I was reacting to the absurdity of Romanowski’s intensity. I couldn’t even fathom making comments that disgusting.

@KelDansby @BSO I hadn’t seen his tweet. It makes me worry too…the context makes the comment less “football guy” than I thought it was.

We’d like to thank Adam for reaching out in such a timely manner but the actions of Romanowski and his apologies for the racist remarks he’s made since this video are still very flawed.
