Why DeMarco Murray is Trying to Force Trade to Cowboys

DeMarco Murray hit the jackpot in his contract year with the Cowboys and got paid well in the offseason, but it came at a price. It was no secret that Murray wanted to say in Dallas, not only because of the great team around him but his friendship with the core players on the Cowboys. He chose to chase the dollar in the off-season. I would have done the same thing because money talks and bullshit walks. He wanted them to show him how much he meant to them and they didn’t. Plus if I’m getting hit in the head for a living, I’m scooping up as much cash as I can.

Luckily for Dallas, things couldn’t have gone worse for Murray in his time with Philidelphia. His body language told the story last year. He was clearly unhappy and frustrated and that seems to have carried on into the off-season, especially since the coaching change:

Rapoport went on to mention that Murray’s affinity for the Cowboys is evident. You could say that about some Cowboys players too:

Both sides need each other. You can’t just create chemistry and the natural compatibility between himself and the Cowboys offensive line is undeniable.

Darren McFadden is alright, but he’s not real. DeMarco Murray is real. After seeing him reach his potential in his record-breaking season with Dallas, it was a bummer to see his talents waste away. What a perfect time for a reunion for Dallas! The Cowboys could buy low on Murray considering his cap hit and history with the Eagles, but would it be a good decision for Philidelphia? Absolutely not.

If they have the chance, they should trade him anywhere else, because everyone knows what kind of fireworks can happen when people make up. If Murray goes back to the Cowboys it might look like these fireworks in San Diego.
