Details on Cavs Missing Kendrick Perkins

LeBron James took his talents to Miami for a few days — getting in a workout with Dwyane Wade, and sending out cryptic tweets about the Heat and needing an enforcer.

On the heels of the enforcer comments — Dan Patrick sat down with Cavaliers beat writer Chris Haynes to discuss the Cavs reliance on James and the lack of a leader like Kendrick Perkins.

According to Haynes — Perkins is sorely missed — with Cavs players being angry about him not being re-signed over Sasha Kaun

Haynes acknowledged that Perkins added “the intangibles, the emotional leadership and the enforcer role to the team” — a role that James would prefer not play.

Perkins — now with the Pelicans — has appeared in 15-games this year, adding leadership to the Anthony Davis and company.
