Last year was not the greatest year for Andre Johnson, or the Indianapolis Colts. Many predicted the Colts to make a run for the Super Bowl with the acquisition of Johnson which they greatly fell short of.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter the Colts have decided to release Johnson after just one season. Johnson will now have the chance to sit back and once again weigh his options as he decides what he wants to do. There will definitely be suitors who will take a chance on the veteran.
No doubt Johnson has lost a step, but he can still be effective if put in the right situation. Just to name a few teams who should consider bringing in Johnson are the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, or the Carolina Panthers as they try to make a push for a Super Bowl title. Johnson will have a few options to look at, but he will first have to decide does he want to play again.
