Jay Wright is wrong for this, especially if he wasn’t playing for money or something worth value. I mean there’s no pool that important, that he shouldn’t be picking Nova to win it all.
All jokes aside — I had Kansas getting to the Final Four — defeating Villanova in the Regional Final. It appears that Jay Wright did as well.
“In my pool, my family pool, which we do just in the family, everybody has to pick Villanova all the way through in one bracket” Wright told USA Today. “I had Xavier in my other bracket. I just thought they were good enough, and they are.”
I think Wright we’ll take that Final Four and a possible National Title, over losing out on the pool championship anyday?
