Barca offered him only play Euroleague games, ie, most media encounters with transcendence of the season. The intention was that Kobe Bryant had a European farewell to the height of its category as a player and receiving tributes from some of the most important tracks of the old continent. Bryant , with elegance, rejected the proposal arguing that Barca physically did not look capable of living up to what required him to play at Barca and Europe.
It’s not surprising that Kobe declined the offer. Sure it isn’t the same rigorous schedule or level of play as the NBA, but if he had any basketball left, it would be with the Lakers.
