After the Washington Post published an article diving into the ongoing NCAA issues the Tar Heels are facing as well as Roy Williams alleged health issues.
The article went strongly at Williams and he was asked about it during his appearance on the Dan Patrick Show today. He fired back hard on the article and the reporter telling him to ‘step lightly’ around his friends.
It might have been a genuine response, but the way he said it benefits him in any scenario. Those were some fake tough guy words to distract from the original allegations. If somehow the allegations the reporter had published were proven true, Wiliams never read the article and really responded to specific things- to him it’s all hear say.
