Chris Paul has decided to withdraw his name from USA Olympic team consideration. Paul played on the previous two gold winning Olympic teams. But turning 31 this year, CP3 decided he would prefer the rest.

Chris Paul was basically a lock for a spot on the 12 men roster but now with the availability which point guard should take his place on the team. It’s pretty clear who the locks to make the roster will be in Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook. Maybe it’s time for some fresh blood to make its way to the Olympic roster.
