A fan was treated to a soccer ball to the face during Real Madrid vs Sevilla match. Sarah Arcand was recording an Cristiano Ronaldo penalty kick when the ball sailed high over the net and met her in the face. Arcand must have been to focused watching her screen the actual location of the ball. Arcand added this to say about the knockout.
Lucky enough to visit from canada and see Real Madrid vs Sevilla. Not sure that Christiano Rinaldo meant to welcome me with a black eye but this Canadian football fan will take the penalty kick to the face as an excellent memory from one of the best. What are the chances :). Wish I coulda kept the ball.
