May the bridges I burn light the way! That seems to be the position of Anthony Davis as it relates to the San Francisco 49ers. The offensive tackle sat out the 2015 season due to health concerns and all signs were pointing towards a return for the 2016 season.
But, seemingly out of nowhere Davis took to social media to let some things go. Check it out.
The 49ers should Draft an Offensive Tackle in the top 10. #NFLDraft2016

I do not want to work with a front office or anyone else who seemingly doesn’t want to win as bad as I do.

Would you happily rent your body out to people that bullshit you and constantly try to manipulate you? I hope you’d stand up for yourself.

Of the four major sports, NFL players have the highest injury rate and shortest active careers. Given all the latest happening around the league with regards to player safety, etc. we will see more players questioning their team’s front offices, and rightfully so. Players are becoming more informed and aware of the business of the NFL. And management and labor are in direct conflict with one another and it is all coming to a head.
