With the fight against Ashley Theophane now complete, boxer Adrien Broner turned himself in to authorities on Monday to answer to charges of allegedly beating and robbing a man outside a bowling alley with a gun in Ohio.
According to TMZ.com, Broner turned himself in at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department early Monday morning for processing but was soon released. Given the quick turn around it’s likely Broner posted the $100,000 bail and now awaits a future court date.
Broner defeated Ashley Theophane on Friday at the DC Armory in Washington D.C by technical knockout in the ninth round of action. At the conclusion of the fight, Broner called out retired pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather in response to the ongoing beef the two former bosom buddies have been having for the last few months.
