Kanye West is making Waves again. Multiple sources confirm the music megastar is working with Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager. There are no signs that West will sever ties with anyone in his current circle. Braun will apparently share management duties with West’s current rep, Izzy Zivkovic.
Kanye is branching out artistically and creatively, and partnering with Scooter is a part of the extension. We posted about Tidal streaming original movies from its artists, Scooter has close ties to Hollywood and could be assisting Kanye in his negotiations.
Yeezy has known Braun for years, and the two have gotten close. And of course there is the six degrees of separation, which in the music and entertainment world is more like two degrees. Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner’s man, is one of Braun’s road managers, and Braun and Bieber have made cameos on social media accounts belonging to various Kardashians and Jenners. And, West was with Bieber backstage in LA during his Purpose Tour.
Sources say the agreement isn’t formal and Braun will serve as a sounding board for West as he seeks new endeavors. Braun has ties and connections that extend outside of entertainment into philanthropy, politics and investing. He is exactly the type of person someone like West would be drawn towards.
