DIRECTV Announces Changes to NFL Sunday Ticket

imageDIRECTV has listened to their subscribers and have decided to change their standard NFL Sunday Ticket service. No longer will fans have to upgrade to NFL Sunday Ticket Max to stream their favorite games on the go. Now every subscriber can stream the games directly to their mobile devices.

Anyone who subscribes to DIRECTV’s NFL SUNDAY TICKET package will be able to stream every live out-of-market regular season game every Sunday afternoon.
“Streaming of NFL SUNDAY TICKET exploded last year— up 35%. This further proves customers want to watch their favorite team wherever they are,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Entertainment Group. “That will grow more this year, now that every customer can enjoy live games on a second screen or on-the-go without having to pay more.”

It’s nice to see DIRECTV recognize the benefits of offering streaming without extra cost. For the fans on the fence on purchasing the package this year a decision like this may be the deciding factor.
