Here’s to a small victory for co-parents everywhere; Dwight Howard and former Orlando Magic and Miami Heat dancer and Basketball Wife Royce Reed are working on a peaceful out-of-court reconciliation. Pictures have surfaced via Reed’s Instagram of both she, Howard and their eight year old son Braylon hanging out after a recent Houston Rockets game. Braylon’s even wearing a children’s sized Dwight Howard number 12 Rockets jersey.
Howard and Reed have had a number of child support court battles not to mention a few scrapes via social media. Reed’s photo collage -there were also pictures from the game of other family and friends- had a We are Family tag. Three cheers to parents working together for the betterment of their kids.
Howard had a low key solid season, playing in 71 games and averaging 13.7 points per game, 11.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.He only averaged 1.4 assist per game but this one with Reed might be the best of all.
The Rockets travel to Oakland to play the overall top seeded Golden State Warriors for games 1 and 2 starting on Saturday. I’m expecting Howard to have even more time to spend with Braylon after the Rockets get swept.
