Kevin Love Would Accept Olympic Invite; Should He Make the Cut?

Kevin Love on if he'll play in Olympics

While his teammates, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are both unsure if they’ll participate in this year’s Olympics, Kevin Love knows what he’ll do if he makes the final cut.

“If they pick me, I’ll play,” he said.

Should Coach K and Jerry Colangelo pick the 3-time all-star?

There’s currently 29 players being considered, but the roster must be cut down to 12, which is so hard considering all of these players are worthy of making it.

When looking at the power forward position, it’s difficult to get a grasp on what Team USA will be looking for because guys like LeBron, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and etc are all capable of occupying the spot.

However, when it comes to true power forwards, you have Draymond Green, LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love.

Considering how the game is played now, Team USA may be looking for a stretch four, which gives Love a chance of being selected, but Green can stretch the floor as well.

The only difference is Green does many more things on the floor well than Love does. Unfortunately for Love, I think he’ll be one of the odd men out.
