After their stunning defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, the Golden State Warriors have to finish the regular season 4-0 to beat the ’95-96 Chicago Bulls 72-10 record.
It appears the constant reminders of how close they’re to beating the Bulls record has been a bit of a distraction.
“It’s human nature to where, all right, kind of ready for the regular season to end,” Green said. “Talking 82 games, we get bored with that after awhile. And that’s no excuse, just, I’m always give it to y’all real, and that’s about as real as I can be. It’s kind of at a point now where you’re ready for the regular season to be over.”
The question now is, should head coach Steve Kerr rest his guys or not?
Kobe Bryant gave his take on the matter:
Kobe on GSW: "If I’m them and I’ve got a chance to set a record, I’m trying to set the damn record. I don’t care what anyone else says."

More Kobe on GSW & single-season wins record: "If you’ve got a chance to do that, go do it — and win a championship."

I tend to agree with Kobe here because who knows if Golden State will ever get this opportunity again.
Go for it!
