Mario Williams sounds like he has been listening to some motivational tapes.
His attitude seemed to be an issue that was most prevalent in his stint with the Bills, but he promises to leave it in the past. He is moving forward as ‘nice-guy’ Mario Williams. Quote thanks to the Miami Dolphins:
“The No. 1 thing that you can definitely look forward to [from me] is attitude,” Williams said, via the team’s website. “I think any year, no matter what happens previous, you can’t look at the future or anything like that, but you can handle right now. And my biggest thing, every day I wake up is going to be the best attitude I’ve ever had. And with attitude, everything is going to follow. I know for sure I’m going to be out there humming 100 miles per hour and it’s going to be full attitude.”
This could be totally genuine, but it seems like begging of a movie that eventually leads to Williams snapping and reverting back to his old ways. The dynamic of the Dolphins will be interesting. Suh and Williams is a lethal combination on the defensive line, but it also sounds like a lethal combination for the locker room.
