The Kardashian family, like it or not, is one of the most influential families we’ve had in a long time. From Robert to Kim and her sisters, their names will live on for generations to come. How they got to the top might surprise you…or it might not.
A new book ‘Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family‘ lays out some very shady details outlining just how they got to the top and how they stayed there. Details via PageSix:
Longtime friends of Caitlyn Jenner allege that the celebrity-formerly-known-as-Bruce went public with her gender transition when she did to distract from possible manslaughter charges – and that Kris Jenner spent years urging Bruce to pray away his desire for change.
Bruce was behind the wheel, at an alleged unsafe speed, when an accident caused the death of a 69-year old woman. 2-months later, Bruce announced he had become Caitlyn. There were no charged filed.
The book also portrays Kris as a mastermind behind some of Kim’s biggest career choices. More from PageSix:
When Kim Kardashian first hooked up with Kanye West, it was publicized that her new fashion designer boyfriend and his personal stylist were helping Kim discard her wardrobe for a new one – something Halperin describes as “merely part of an image makeover that Kris had been engineering for months.”
Kim announced that she would be donating all the discarded clothes, tweeting, “The clothes I got will be up on eBay next month for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church!” What she failed to disclose to her millions of followers was that the recipient of her charity was her mother’s own church.
Finally, the sex tape. Everything else aside, if you help your daughter prepare and release a sex tape, you are on that Mr. Krabs level of loving money.
More potentially significant is Halperin’s allegation that the family – Kris, in particular – was far more involved in the planning and release of Kim’s infamous sex tape, the one that made her famous, than the public had been led to believe.
After speaking with several lawyers who told him that both Kim and Ray J would have had to sign off on the distribution, he quotes former supermodel and reality TV veteran Janice Dickinson, who told Radar Online, “Kris Jenner signed a contract with Vivid. Kris approved the video, she signed it along with Kim and Ray J.”
These are all just allegations, so don’t go too far jumping to conclusions. But whenever you have a rise to the top as steep and dramatic as the Kardashian’s, you have to assume there were some soul selling deals.
