It is unclear exactly where Ezekiel Elliott will be drafted to start his NFL career, but we do know what shoes he will be sporting. Nike officially made the announcement that the former Ohio State running back has signed a multi year deal, according to reports from Columbus-Sun Times.
Elliott joins DeForest Buckner, Jared Goff and Paxton Lynch as members of Nike’s “2016 Rookie Class”. While this is a strong draft class top to bottom, there does not seem to be many players with star power. Elliott, known for wearing his jersey tucked into his shoulder pads to show his abs off, very well could be that star.
The shoe giant welcomed Elliott with a stylized video which commemorates his 85 yard run to seal the Sugar Bowl against Alabama, winning Ohio State the national championship.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
