The Lakers have no doubt by their standards had a disappointing season this year setting a franchise record losing 65 games. However they were able to milk the Kobe farewell tour for everything that it was worth and set a record along the way.
In the final game of his career the Staples Center sold $1.2 million worth of Kobe’s memorabilia which is a world record. There were hats that were being sold for $38,000, jackets for $6,000 and jerseys that were going for more than $800.

Kobe also left us with one last great impression dropping 60 points in a Lakers win over Utah. A great way to close the career of one of the greatest players ever.
