Talk around the UFC pegged Ronda Rousey for a November return, coincidentally that is the date set for the promotions MSG debut.
The buzz surrounding a Rousey title fight and the NYC debut of the UFC had many ready to hit the fast forward button on the Summer but now UFC President Dana White isn’t so sure Rousey will compete at UFC 205.
“She has as much time off as she wants or needs. Obviously, I would love her to come back sooner than later so we’ll see how that plays out but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to roll into New York with Ronda but I just don’t know if she’s going to be ready,” said White.
Ronda’s already training MMA, and boxing, in anticipation of her return to the octagon. That leads us to believe that Dana White is more concerned about Ronda being mentally prepared for a title fight, than her physical skills returning.
