For many watching last night’s Eastern Conference Game 2, Kyle Lowry leaving the bench with 2 minutes left in the half showed an inexplicable lack of heart and leadership but Lowry says that it’s a normal occurrence that was magnified by the situation.
It’s hard to put a positive spin on it given that the game was tied at 46 points just minutes before and that it wasn’t until the Cavs started to pull away that Lowry felt the need to ‘decompress.’
It was going to take a near perfect effort by the Raptors to beat the Cavaliers and now it’ll take an immense turn around in attitude to avoid being swept. We will have to see if the home fans in Toronto can help spark the Raptors.
