Since retiring from the NFL earlier this offseason, Peyton Manning has not been very visible in NFL circles. But, according to reports from Yahoo Sports, the sheriff has taken his talents to South Beach– not to take the job, but to offer guidance to the man who already has the gig.
That’s right, Peyton Manning took a trip down to Miami, to visit with Adam Gase and give Ryan Tannehill and offer up some tips on how to work in the offense that Gase will install down in Miami.
This is possibly a make or break year for Tannehill, as the Dolphins have been the definition of inconsistent for the past few seasons. Whereas Gase spent three of the past four seasons serving as Offensive Coordinator for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
This is the 3rd offensive system for Tannehill, so I am sure he’s looking for all the help that he can get in order to make something work in his favor. Who better to learn under than one of the most cerebral quarterbacks ever?
