We will NEVER forget the hilarious Chappelle’s Show episode in which Charlie Murphy claimed that Prince and his crew challenged him and his friends to a game of basketball. After their victory, the Purple One served them pancakes.
On Thursday, actor Samuel L. Jackson posted an Instagram photo of himself sitting courtside with the late singer taking in a Lakers game on Christmas Day. Both appeared stoic and Jackson noted in his caption that the hometown Lakers must have been losing. He goes on to note that Prince confirmed the Murphy’s story, stating, “They had on church shoes!”
