Ever wonder if your favorite celebs really use the products that they passionately endorse on Instagram? Well, Scott Disick unveiled what we all pretty much already knew – that the posts are heavily orchestrated and most likely not crafted by the celebs themselves. On Thursday, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex took to Instagram to promote Bootea, a detox tea supplement. When posting the caption suggested by the company, Scott also accidentally posted the company’s instructions telling him to paste it.
Disick, who makes $15,000-$20,000 per post, is one of many celebrities tapped by the health drink brand to bolster its image. Other endorsers include Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and many more. Although it’s not surprising that the company has a lot of say so in how the brand is represented, it is interesting to find that the posts are orchestrated down to the captions and time of day.
Scott quickly deleted the blunder, but of course not before someone screenshot the post and tweeted it for the masses. See the tweet below:
